There has been a variety of comments made as to whether there should even be a Great Britain football team entered in the 2012 Olympics Most of the home nations have reservations about the competition, the English, Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish football associations do not encourage their players to play in the games but they haven’t yet banned them from representing Great Britain in London 2012.
